Affiliate Policy
Affiliate Disclosure & Policy
Effective Date: October 27, 2026
We believe in being upfront, honest, and transparent with our readers. In compliance with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines and affiliate program regulations, this policy explains how we monetize this website through affiliate relationships.
Amazon Associates Program Disclosure
PERFECTLY UNPOLISHED is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
What is an Affiliate Link?
Many of the links on this website leading to products on Amazon are "affiliate links". If you click on one of these links and make a purchase within 24 hours, we receive a small commission from Amazon at absolutely no extra cost to you.
The price of the item remains exactly the same whether you use our affiliate link or go directly to Amazon yourself.
How We Use Affiliate Links
Honest Opinions: We only recommend products, services, or gear that we have personally used, thoroughly researched, or genuinely believe will add value to our readers.
No Endorsement: Our participation in the Amazon Associates program does not mean Amazon endorses our website, nor does it mean we are employed by Amazon. We act entirely as an independent reviewer. [1, 2]
Transparency: We do not disguise or "cloak" our affiliate links. Every link that sends you to Amazon is easily identifiable, and we place a clear identifier (such as "[Paid Link]", "[Amazon Link]", or a clear notice at the top of the page) near our product recommendations.
Why Do We Use Affiliate Links?
Running a website requires investments in hosting, domain registration, content creation, and technical maintenance. The small commissions we earn through the Amazon Associates program help support these operational costs, allowing us to continue providing high-quality, free content for our audience. [1]
We deeply appreciate your support when you choose to use our links to make a purchase!
